Blue Budgie #1

A silk and cotton Budgie art doll, hand made in Scotland in the spring of 2023. This bird doll has been entirely hand sewn from calico, vintage silk and antique threads. The doll is gently weighted for more stability when standing and to give a more realistic feel when held.

Each doll is individually hand made and dyed with plants and mineral pigments. Any irregularities in the cloth, dye or finish of the doll are intentional and an intrinsic part of the piece.

Measures 22cm from head to toe, and 8cm at the widest point.

This doll is not suitable for children, rough handling or pets. Please do not immerse it in water or leave it in direct sunlight for long periods of time.
